Fort Pierce, FL (February 13, 2025) – Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ has been selected by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) to host the NJCAA Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships in 2026 and 2028. 2024 NJCAA National Champions: Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving Teams.

“We are honored that NJCAA has selected Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ to host the 2026 and 2028 Swimming and Diving Championships,” said Dr. Timothy E. Moore, Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ President. “This selection reflects our longstanding partnership with NJCAA and our shared commitment to excellence in collegiate athletics. Given Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ’s remarkable legacy in swimming and diving, including our unprecedented national championship streak, there’s no more fitting venue for these prestigious events. We look forward to welcoming the nation’s top student-athletes to our world-class facilities and continuing our tradition of hosting exceptional championship competitions.”

The Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ aquatics complex features comprehensive facilities for both swimming and diving events, including a 25-yard x 25-meter pool with a diving well and maxi flex boards, as well as a 50-meter x 25-yard swimming pool. The College’s experience hosting major swimming events, most recently demonstrated by the successful organization of the 2024 Swimming and Diving Championships, positions Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ as an ideal venue for these prestigious competitions.

NJCAA Swimming and Diving Committee Chair Steve Mullen praised Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ’s selection, noting, “Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ has had a long and successful history of hosting the NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. The support that the College and community give to the championships makes it a very special week for all participating student-athletes and coaches.”

Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ Head Swimming Coach Sion Brinn expressed enthusiasm about hosting the championships: “As a program that has consistently championed excellence in collegiate swimming and diving, we’re thrilled to once again welcome the nation’s top junior college athletes to our facilities. These championships are more than just competitions – they’re celebrations of athletic achievement and team spirit that showcase the very best of collegiate swimming and diving.”

The Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ swimming and diving program has secured 50 consecutive men’s swimming and diving national championships, and 46 women’s national titles.
